Born from the loss of Ben Giovangelo to suicide in 2009, Ben Speaks approaches mental wellness from a holistic lens. Ben Speaks mission is to provide positive channels of expression and empowerment for a whole person approach to wellness through clinical and holistic resources and education.
Led by Ben’s mother, Judy Giovangelo, the organization provides access to expressive and healing arts resources for youth, families and communities in MetroWest Massachusetts.
From leadership training to generating curriculum in local middle & high schools, Ben Speaks encourages communities to address the problem of suicide at the grassroots level.
Our Partnership
As the beneficiary at Thropic’s inaugural launch event in November of 2018, Ben Speaks was Thropic’s first official charity partner. Since that event, Thropic has helped elevate Ben Speaks' overall brand presence and generate thousands of dollars raised for the cause. Most notably, Thropic took over Ben Speaks social media in 2021 and helped increase the organization’s followers by over 40% across all social channels.
